Who I Am

Bolt Systems is led by Richard Paul, a senior software engineer and technical consultant with more than 25 years of experience designing, building, and delivering reliable systems for businesses across the UK. Based in Sheringham, I specialise in improving websites, building custom applications, integrating systems, and using AI to streamline business workflows.

My work spans sectors including retail, property, logistics, insolvency, publishing, and specialist industries — from e‑commerce builds and cloud migrations to workflow automation and API integrations. I’ve led engineering teams, delivered large‑scale systems, and built platforms used by thousands of users across multiple organisations around the world.
